Our District At A Glance. . .

The Hampton-Dumont Community School District is a progressive school district that takes great pride in the educational opportunities afforded its students. The district's dedication to its 1,200 young people is reflected in:

  • A commitment to the use of technology in learning
  • A dedicated staff who are committed to continuous growth and development and to providing the best education possible for kids
  • Low student-teacher ratios, which provide for personalized attention to each student
  • A comprehensive and balanced educational program
  • Student participation and community interest in extracurricular activities. Approximately 90 percent of secondary students are involved in at least one extracurricular activity.

Our district is comprised of four buildings. Pre-school and Early Childhood Special Education students attend North Side Elementary. Grades K-3 are housed at South Side Elementary, grades 4-8 at Hampton-Dumont Middle School, and grades 9-12 attend Hampton-Dumont High School.
